Earl Svenningsen, PGA Golf Instruction

Welcome to Earl Svenningsen Golf Instruction

Earl is the rare combination of a great teacher and championship golfer. Earl has studied and played the game of golf for over 50 years, starting at age 7. While playing the game at golf highest levels, Earl has gained valuable insight into the golf swing and what is necessary for his students to improve and enjoy their golf experience more fully. His enthusiasm for teaching and commitment to his student's development sets him apart. Professional golfer or beginner, you will get the same dedicated attention to detail that makes Earl's lessons unique. Earl believes that your goal as a golfer is to play the game as naturally as possible. That means that you need to train yourself to "swing the club" and not get tied up in mechanical positions for each golf swing. The golf swing is a tool that is used to play golf. The better the golf swing, the better the potential for more consistent shots and lower scores. All lessons from Earl are geared to naturally learning a better way to swing the club that matches your physical capabilities, commitment, and goals. Once learned, the objective is to "let go" and intuitively use your new swing, with no thinking of swing mechanics, to play better golf.

Earl has been awarded many honors, including Colorado PGA Teacher of the Year, Colorado PGA Horton Smith Award winner 4 times, and the Life Time Achievement Award from the Colorado Golf Hall of Fame. Earl has taught National PGA Education courses on "How to Teaching Golf" and "Playing the Game" to fellow PGA professionals to better their understanding and help them improve their teaching techniques.
